Lockheed Martin Space seeks a full time Network Engineer for our
Sunnyvale, CA location to join our team for Echelon 2 (E2)
sustainment of a signal distribution system. Along with
sustainment, we continue the active development of new capabilities
and recaps of existing systems and are looking for candidates who
can support the design and development of our future systems.
--- Supports development of new capabilities by designing network
solutions to support new software capabilities and customer
requests.
--- Support troubleshooting of both development and operational
systems to fault-isolate issues and collaborate with software and
systems administration team to develop solutions
--- Responsible for all network hardware and operating systems in
both development and operational baselines, including supporting
operational customers.
Successful candidates must have an active TS security clearance and
be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly.

Basic Qualifications:
--- Functional understanding and experience troubleshooting routing
protocols/capabilities (examples include OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP,
L2VPN, EVPN, SNMP)
--- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco platforms ( IOS-XR,
IOS-XE, or NX-OS)
--- Experience with Linux
--- Security Cert - CISSP, Security+, CCNP Security, or CCNA
security
--- Must have an active TS security clearance and be able to obtain
and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Desired Skills:
--- CCNA/CCNP
--- Experience configuring and troubleshooting JUNOS devices
--- Spirent experience
--- VIAVI/IXIA experience
--- Cisco ISE experience
--- Experience with Cisco Crossworks/ DNA / Thousand Eyes / SD-WAN
software packages
--- Cisco CML
--- Experience with Segment routing, MPLS, WAN FEC, GRE, IPSEC
--- Experience creating a network test plan
--- Experience creating network drawings
--- Experience with Ansible, TCL, or Python
--- Experience with EEM or Yang models
--- Team player with the ability to be a self starter
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in
California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas),
Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or
Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance,

Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid
time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time
employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off
(PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive
at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees
accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of
sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO,
Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start
date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most
major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,300 -
$170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for
this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
