This care team member will provide for the hygiene, personal care, and activities of daily living, assist with tray passing and transport of patients, as needed, and measuring and recording vital signs. Some Nursing Assistants may do EKG tests. Some Nursing Assistants may also perform clerical support functions.Job Requirements, Prerequisites And Essential FunctionsEDUCATIONHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent preferredExperienceA minimum of one year (1040 hours) of experience as a Nursing Assistant; in an acute-care hospital or skilled nursing facility is preferred. • Ability to read, speak, write clearly and legibly, and understand and follow English verbal and written instructions

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to learn current in-house computer systems
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and contribute positively towards the goals of the team and the organization
