Job Title: Mammography Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS (AHA), CA CRT Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience Description: Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. Provides diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills. Executes safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. Utilizes competent patient assessment and attentive monitoring. Employs effective communication to ensure optimal patient care. Adheres to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures. Ensures privacy and safety while delivering care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
