Director of Patient Care Services in the Women and Children's
Center (WCC), the NICU RN Clinical Manager is a registered nurse
who has twenty-four hour responsibility for coordinating patient
care activities for the defined clinical unit during designated
shifts, participates in the provision of quality care,
cost-effective operations and development of staff and unit goals.
Directs, evaluates, coaches department staff as warranted.
Responsible for coordination and implementing staff development
activities including orientation, in-service and continuing
education. Coordinates the Continuous Quality Improvement Program.
Assists with the development and maintenance of departmental
competencies, develops policies and procedures, and maintains
hospital and department policy and procedure manuals. 2503019558
