Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Board-CertifiedEmergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage at a busycommunity hospital Emergency Department in Dublin, Georgia. This is anexcellent opportunity to work in a well-supported ED with APP triage and adiverse patient population. Position Details: Practice Setting: Community hospital Emergency Department Trauma Designation: Level III Trauma Center ED Bays: 28 Annual ED Volume: ~54,000 visits per year Patient Mix: Typical for a sole community hospital ED Admission Rate: Approximately 15% APP/Nurse Triage: Yes, available for lower-acuity patients Responsibilities: Evaluate and manage a full spectrum of emergency medicine cases Provide care for medical, surgical, and trauma presentations Supervise and collaborate with APPs and nursing staff as needed Ensure timely, high-quality, and patient-centered emergency care Participate in trauma activations consistent with Level III designation Requirements: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM required) Can not accept IM/ FM boards Active Georgia medical license or ability to obtain ACLS, BLS, and ATLS (preferred) Strong clinical skills and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume ED Dublin, Georgia is afriendly central Georgia community known for its small-town charm, affordablecost of living, and convenient access to outdoor recreation, with easy drivesto Macon and Savannah
