This position offers a unique opportunity to provide dedicated support to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury. The role involves one-on-one assistance, working closely with the student to meet their individual needs and help facilitate their educational experience. This contract is based in the San Francisco area, specifically supporting a student in San Pablo, CA, and is scheduled for 1-2 hours per month during the contract school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized, one-on-one therapeutic support to a middle school student with a traumatic brain injury. Collaborate with educators and caregivers to implement tailored interventions. Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed. Qualifications: Current license or certification as PT, PTA, or equivalent school-based therapy credential. Experience working with pediatric clients, preferably in a school setting. Knowledge of brain injury rehabilitation and related therapy techniques. Ability to commit to a flexible schedule with 1-2 hours of direct contact per month.
