PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in San Mateo, California, 94401! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia
Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10
Experience: 5 years in inpatient PACU RN or outpatient surgical
setting License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA),
ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - 5 years of experience in PACU or outpatient
surgical settings - Ability to work with both adult and pediatric
patients - Experience in pre-op, PACU, and post-op areas
Description: The Registered Nurse is accountable for the
assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
This includes direct patient care, patient and family education,
and transitions of care in an acute setting. The role requires
collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive
patient care. Candidates must be available for variable shifts
starting at either 6:00 AM or 9:30 AM. There is no on-call
requirement and no weekend shifts, though the possibility of
staying late may arise if patients do not meet discharge criteria.
Candidates should possess all required certifications in hand at
the time of application. A background check will be conducted prior
to employment. Verification of work history for the past 7 years is
