Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Opportunity/n/n- Join a dynamic team in the Labor & Delivery Unit where you will make a significant impact on the lives of families during one of their most important moments./n/n- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) /n- Patient Ratios: 1:2 /n/n- Core Requirements:/n - Experience: 1 year(s) in Labor & Delivery/n - Certifications Required: BLS, NRP /n - Preferred Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced*, AWHONN Intermediate /n/n- Essential Skills:/n - Labor & Delivery Management:/n - Assist with high-risk deliveries/n - Circulate for C-sections/n - Triage obstetrical patients/n - Perform sterile vaginal exams/n - Newborn Care:/n - Assess newborns and provide circumcision care/n - Administer APGAR scores and manage thermoregulation/n - Postpartum Care:/n - Support breastfeeding and conduct wound assessments/n - Manage postpartum care for various delivery types /n - Pain Management:/n - Administer epidural and other anesthesia as required /n/n- Work Environment:/n - Daily Census: 2-3 patients with a total of 5 beds/n - Interdisciplinary Support: Collaborate with respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and more/n - Schedule Flexibility: Potential to float to postpartum when necessary /n/n- Orientation: 40-hour orientation to ensure you’re well-prepared for your role /n/n- Additional Requirements:/n - Must include RTO (Requests for Time Off) at the time of submission/n - Must be willing to cover weekends every third weekend/n/nWhy Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): /nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
