Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the implementation and configuration of Oracle Financials and Vertex tax solutions across multiple legal entities including the US, Canada, Italy, Turkey, Portugal, and the UK.This role is essential in aligning tax and financial requirements with technical solutions and involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, project managers, and internal teams.Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Oracle Financial modules and Vertex tax solutions tailored to multiple legal entities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions that meet tax and financial compliance needs.
• Lead and support the Certificate Exemption process and configuration in Vertex O.
• Provide expertise in tax software solutions, specifically Vertex and Tax Link, including setup and ongoing support.
• Ensure alignment of tax solutions with local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Offer continuous improvements and troubleshooting support post-implementation.
• Work within a consulting or professional services environment to deliver high-quality tax technology implementations.
• Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of project goals.Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in tax technology implementation with a focus on Vertex tax solutions for both use tax and sales tax.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations related to sales and use tax.
  • Experience in Certificate Exemption process configuration in Vertex O.
  • Experience working with tax compliance tools including Vertex and Tax Link.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, particularly in financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Projects.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Preferred Qualifications
    • Certification in Vertex tax software (Vertex Certified Professional).
    • Certification in Oracle ERP Financial Modules (AP, AR, GL, FA).
